The Leibniz School of Education initiates, coordinates and promotes interdisciplinary (teacher) education research, and supports young scholars in this area.
Key areas in teacher training
Setting up interdisciplinary key areas related to teacher training at the Leibniz School of Education is one of the initial steps in the attempt to establish teacher training as an image-defining element of Leibniz Universität Hannover.
On the basis of the results from research related to teacher training, the key areas are designed to promote
- university, research-based teacher training
- interdisciplinary research
- interfaculty collaboration and
- the further conceptual development of degree courses
